The rain is turning everything green around here. Not only that, the mushrooms are starting to pop up. The variations of mushrooms are amazing. Here is one I found on a recent hike in Briones State Park. After getting home I looked for this specimen in my mushroom book. The closest I could match was the Forest Mushroom. Without having the actual mushroom with me it was tough trying to determine the exact type.
