2012 Santa Rosa Cup CX Race 3 Singlespeed A Men Video
Final race of the 2012 Santa Rosa Cup Cyclocross series. Mother nature decided to join in on the fun and brought with her rain and cold temperatures. The new venue, Window Oak Winery, handled it well and provided a fun rolling course. Although the infamous Sonoma mud and grass sucked the energy faster than the wine being sipped by the spectators.
Watch the single-speed A men suffer on the 1st of several laps. Definitely a tough course with only one gear. But it was fun.

2012 Santa Rosa Cup CX Race 2 Video
Second race of the 2012 Santa Rosa Cup CX Series and with it mud and rain! The rare NorCal wet weather timed itself perfectly for the day’s event. Earlier racers were losing derailleurs left and right. Then the sun fought its way through the clouds and the course dried up a bit. But by the last race it was cold wind, clouds, and rain that forced their way back in.

This was the first race of the Santa Rosa Cup CX Series. Watch the singlespeed A men trail the Elite men on the Place To Play Park race course. The conditions were hot, dry, and dusty. Luckily the wind held back and made the long flat stretches a bit easier.

2012 Lake Sonoma Ricochet Race 4 Video
Here’s the final race of the Lake Sonoma Ricochet series.
This time the fog stuck around until just before the 10am start. That kept it a nice temperature throughout the race. And then after the race, as always, there was the BBQ, Lagunitas beer on tap, drinks on ice, and lots of raffle swag.

2012 Skyline XC Mountain Bike Race Video
Captured the start and a small portion of the course at the epic Skyline XC Mountain Bike race. This is a course that combines technical climbing, descending, rollers, heat, rocks, dust, more heat, and moments of shear joy and terror. Always look forward to this one.

2012 Lake Sonoma Ricochet – Race 1 Video
First race of the 2012 Lake Sonoma Ricochet series. Captured the Pro/Expert field at the start and a few sections of the course.
It was a fun, hot, and technical course. And enjoyed the BBQ and Lagunitas beer served at the finish.

2011 Santa Rosa Cup CX Race 2 – Singlespeed A Video
Watch the Singlespeed A and B categories spin around Spring Lake Regional Park for the second race of the 2011 Santa Rosa Cup Cyclocross series. This course was built for speed but with a mix of technical to keep everyone honest.
The footage begins with the A racers blasting off on the first lap. Then 3/4 way through it transitions to the third lap and the B leaders charging back up towards the start/finish.
Real fun course, great event, and something to look forward to for next season.

2011 Santa Rosa Cup CX Race 1 – Singlespeed A Video
Here’s your own view of the Single-speed A race at the 2011 Santa Rosa Cup. This is a new series with new venues. The first venue, shown here, was at “A Place to Play Park” in Santa Rosa.
This two race series will offer up the coveted Santa Rosa CX Cup to the lucky low point winners. I’ll just pretend it’s in my grasp, but maybe you’re one of the lucky racers in contention.
