I rode the Larkspur ferry home from work the other day. As we cruised from Larkspur and towards San Francisco, the sky slowly changed into one of those rare amazing painted sunsets. In the bay area sunsets like this are rare so I was lucky to be on the ferry, in the middle of the bay, when it occurred.

I also happened to have my new camcorder, a Sony DCR-TRV30, with me. It has a 1.5 megapixel digital photo mode. What a great chance to take some photos and test it out. These are some of the results.
