Last race of the 2012 Surf City Cyclocross series. Signed up for the single-speed race and got myself whooped. Steam must be running out after two days of racing. Still, it was a fun, sloppy course with some very tricky sections. And three evil slick run-ups that were the nails on the coffin for me. ...

The 3rd Surf City Cyclo-X race was held at the Santa Cruz Fairgrounds in Watsonville, CA last weekend. I once again braved the masses and filmed the Masters 35+ “A” race. Watch me suffer. Watch the poor mountain biker get dropped on the flats. Curses to all those cyclocross bikes! :') Cheers!
