This was another mushroom I found on my hike in Briones State Park. Again, All I could figure out from a quick look through the mushroom book was that this was a Manure Mushroom. No idea though. Mushrooms can look so much alike. That’s why it’s a bit crazy picking and eating these things. You never know. Are you a mushroom expert? An ideas what type of mushroom this is?

The rain is turning everything green around here. Not only that, the mushrooms are starting to pop up. The variations of mushrooms are amazing. Here is one I found on a recent hike in Briones State Park. After getting home I looked for this specimen in my mushroom book. The closest I could match was the Forest Mushroom.
