The Bay Area Super Prestige series finished at the popular Coyote Point venue. Although the coyotes have long since been run out, the racers did their best to roam around in packs, chasing and gnawing on each other’s heals. The course offered up the familiar short steel hill at the start, a new sand section that messed with everyone, the beach that was now rideable, long flat fast sections, the gravel pit of shame, and a bit of grass here and there. ...
Here was the second of a two day race weekend for the BASP Series. The weather held out and conditions were great at Candlestick. Rain earlier in the week gave the course tacky conditions with only a few soft spots. Watch the single-speed A racers… or the bad apples in some people’s minds :) ...
The BASP series returns to Candlestick for two days of racing. The crew spread the fields out across the two days so as to give every category it’s own race, no stacking of categories, no mixing with chum, a mano y mano battle amongst your peers.
