Here’s a quick and dirty animation I just created using Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 2015. It now has flipbook support and I decided to try my hand at it. Well, I’m obviously not an animator nor able to sketch :) but the app made it fun and easy.

Justin Herman Plaza Fountain Animated Here’s an animated gif of the fountain in Justin Herman Plaza (San Francisco). I created it by first capturing around 100 photos from various angles. These were then uploaded into the Autodesk Recap 360 cloud application for conversion into a model. This is a free service that can create 3D models from photos. Once the model was created I exported the mesh file to my laptop and then loaded that file with another free application, Memento. This second application let me cleanup parts of the model and save the result. ...
