Great White Heron
Nature photography is difficult! I made the effort today to capture one of the Great White Herons that hang out along the waterway near my office. The photos above are two of the best. The first was easy since the Heron was just waiting on the fence... and the second after he got too much attention and flew off.
I tested various settings on my camera (D200) to capture the dynamic nature of these shots. But I need more practice.
