Mixed Media and Stone Piles
Below the waterfall were several little stone piles sitting upon the boulders. These piles added an interesting mix to the scene. They resembled little rock people waiting around. Waiting for something or someone. What were they waiting for? The next big flood of water to wash them back into the stream? No, they must be waiting for a sign, for some direction, for someone to lead them! I heard their call and took to the task. Into the chilly water I went, collecting and building until they had their wish.
And so, the little stone piles had their leader. Pointing the way and giving hope to all the stones and pebbles that would follow.
